Joya McIntyre, from Selkirk Security, and David Moorhead, the city’s acting parks and recreation director, are getting ready for Silver City Days.

The annual event brings a lot of fun to downtown Trail, but also requires a well-maintained, and safe and secure environment.

Keeping carnival debris off the ground and in the garbage cans is always a challenge, but Moorhead says volunteers from Community Development Services and J.L. Crowe will lend a hand, as well as an early morning street cleaning from the municipal flusher truck, and staff working the weekend to maintain downtown Trail.
