Morris: Anita Morris of Fruitvale passed away at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on February 2, 2017 at the age of 75. Anita was born in Blairmore, Alberta on June 19, 1941. Anita was a teacher and moved to Trail in 1965, where she was an avid community volunteer and worked in child care for many years. When she retired, her time was spent with her grandchildren.
Anita will be sadly missed by her children; Cindy (Chris) Cook, Shelley (Rob) Klatt, Carol (Clyde) Gordon, her grandchildren; Charlene Cook, Amber (Alex) Gordon, Anna (Johnny) Cook, Christian Klatt, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the many young people whose lives she touched. Anita was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2009, her infant son William, her grandson Travis Gordon, her parents Umberto and Maria Pagnucco, her sister Alda Fiipuzzi, and her brother Angelo Pagnucco.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Anita’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation located at 4 - 1551 Sutherland Avenue,
