POSTNIKOFF, Dora – Long-time resident of Genelle, passed away on February 8, 2017 at Castleview Care Centre. She was born in Champion Creek, BC on June 27, 1925.
Dora loved her home in Genelle and enjoyed being in her garden tending her vegetables and flowers. She cooked the best Russian borscht for her family.
She is survived by her son Bill (Karen), her daughter Doreen (Wally) Kazakoff, grandsons; James (Sherry) and Bob, her granddaughters; Lisa and Kris (Dave), her great-grandchildren; Kahli, Justin and Jaeden. Dora was predeceased by her husband Bill.
At Dora’s request, a service will not be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date in the spring. Cremation has taken place. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the entire staff at Castleview Care Centre for taking such good care of our mother in the past year.
