Evelyn Frances Poole passed away on March 20, 2017 in Penticton, BC.
She was the last
of four children, the baby
of the family. She was
predeceased by her two brothers Larry and
Austin, her sister Dora, her husband Carl Poole and her grandson Jeremy Green. Her family were able to visit and say goodbye in her last days including her two daughters; Gail Stone (Doug), Judy Green (Graham), and son Tom Poole.
She is also survived by three grandchildren; Dawn Fraser, Joy Koopmans (Dave) and Erin Green (Denny) plus six great-grandchildren; Shaun Fraser (Kaylee), Faith Fraser, Emily
Koopmans, Lucas Koopmans, Evie Marchand and Lila Marchand plus one great-great-grandchild Savannah Fraser.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew the baseball throwing, sports watching, tell it like it is, honest, tough, don’t mess with me, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother that enriched all the lives of those who knew her. We have asked that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke foundation. We have chosen to forego a service and will instead have a Celebration at a later date.
