We are very sad to announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather in Grand Forks, B.C.
George was born and raised in Trail and received his education there, including an apprenticeship to become a machinist with Cominco. In 1964 he met and married Barbara Negus and they began their life together. Raising their family, son Eric and daughter Lynn, they spent many happy years living in Blueberry Creek, Kelowna, and finally to Grand Forks where George enjoyed his favourite pastimes; hunting, fishing, camping and tinkering in his shop. He made friends easily and kept them for life.
He is missed by his wife Barb of 59 years, son Eric (Isabelle), daughter Lynn (Pieter) and five beautiful grandchildren. George is survived by his brother Richard and sister Lorna, sisters-in-law Carol Miller and Alice Negus, brother-in-law Raymond McCabe, his little buddy Charlie and many nieces and nephews.
