Was born on February 22, 1918 in Roche Percee, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017 in Trail, BC.
Irene is predeceased by her husband Samuel, her daughter Agnes and granddaughter Sandra.
She is survived by her children; Doreen, Emilie (Roy), Charlotte (Ed), Gerald (Kathy), her 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Irene worked at the Trail Hospital for many years and was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 (Trail). She is the last member of her Peltier family. It is truly the end of an era.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Carberry's Chapel (1298 Pine Avenue, Trail) with Father Francis dela Cruz officiating, followed by an interment at Mountainview Cemetery in Rossland.
