November 27, 1931 - October 26, 2018
Ken peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior at Rosewood Village in Trail, BC.

He is survived by his brother Murray English (Judy), his sister June Reed and his sister-in-law Evelyne; his daughter Geri-Lee de Wit (Ken), his son Chad English (Brenda) and his four grandsons, Tylor English (Kayla), Colton English (Veronica), Braydon de Wit (Leandri), Jeremy de Wit (Selena) as well as four great-grandchildren, Phineas, Eleanor, Alivia and Paisley with one more great- grandchild on the way.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Clayton and Pearl English, his brother Alwyn English, brother-in-law Clifford Reeds and his dear wife of 56 years, Beverley English.

Ken worked as a respected electrician at Tech Resources from March 8, 1965 - May 31, 1992 and was known by his co-workers as "Kenny." He actively served in the Alliance Church in a variety of ministries and was a long-standing elder. He was a founding member of the Kootenay Christian Motorcycle Association and was the coordinator of the Samaritan's Purse Shoe Box program for many years.

He was a member of the Beaver Valley Amateur Radio Club, enjoyed his Honda Goldwing motorcycle, photography, woodworking, gardening, camping and time with his family.

He will be remembered as a quiet, humble, gentle man with a giving heart, a meticulously hard worker and a man who loved God and cared deeply for others.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Rosewood Village for their tremendous care and loving support over the last years of Ken's life.

A Celebration of Faith will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Trail Alliance Church 3365 Laburnum Drive, with Reverend Ken Siemens officiating. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Ken's name to the Trail Alliance Church Wheelchair Van Ministry, 3365 Laburnum Drive, Trail, BC, V1R 2S8 or donations to Pines Bible Camp, 10005 North Fork Road, Grand Forks, BC, V0H 1H8.
