It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Morley Wilson, husband to Elsie Wilson our father, grandfather, uncle, and faithful friend. Morley passed away peaceful in Chemainus Care Centre on February 19, 2018.

He will be reunited with loved ones gone on before him. Morley was born on October 13, 1928, in La Fleche, Saskatchewan, Canada. Most of his years were spent in Trail BC, with the last 15 years of his life spent in Saltair on Vancouver Island. Morley worked for the Cominco fire department in Trail BC for years and rose to assistant Fire chief until he left to become a personnel manager for Cominco International.

For many years Morley was an avid skier and a member of the Red Mountain ski patrol. He was a skilled country and western singer and musician, playing guitar fiddle and accordion. He also loved art and drew and painted many beautiful scenes.

He is survived by His wife Elsie of forty-eight years and his five children Marlin, Jennifer, Caroline, Mark, and Ryan, and grandchildren Marco and Naiomi, Sophia and Isabella, Parker and Liam, and Ryder Carter and Ella.

Morley was predeceased by his brother Gerald and sister Audrey.
