August 1, 1932 – November 4, 2018
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Polly Sherbinin on November 4th, 2018 at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. Polly was born in Grand Forks on August 1st,1932 to Paul and Helen Zibin. In 1952, Polly married Paul Sherbinin, shortly thereafter moved to Trail, BC. They raised 5 children together.
Polly was an avid gardener, loved to sew and at 73, discovered yoga. For many years, Polly was a member of Trail Auxiliary No.2838 Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Trail.
She is survived by: Her brother Mitch Zibin, sons ; Paul, Bill and Henry( Dawn) Sherbinin. Daughters; Cathy(Jim) Pearson, Nida(Bernie) Prychon. Grandchildren; David and Evan Pearson, Christopher(Colette) and Danielle Prychon. And Matthew Sherbinin Sisters in law; Nellie Makortoff and Paula Sherbinib and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Paul, Mother Helen, Brother John and beloved husband Paul. Services arranged by Castlegar Funeral Chapel, and will be held on Friday, November 9th 2018 at 10 am at the Glade Community Hall, Burial in the Glade Cemetery at 12 pm. Following service, the family invites you to join them in the lower level of the hall for a Borscht Luncheon.
