Roy Staples passed away in the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on August 27, 2017. Roy was born in Vernon, BC on March 20, 1930 and was the son of Ivan and Nadine Staples.
Roy is survived by his son Gary, his brother Lyle, his Uncle Alan as well as two nieces and three nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Doris and his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at St. Paul’s United Church in Fruitvale with Elizabeth Berglund officiating. Burial to follow in the Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ is entrusted with the arrangements.
