The Kimberley Dynamiters hung around for a 3-2 overtime win over Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Wednesday.

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks outshot the Kimberley Dynamiters 40-23 but a breakaway overtime goal by Eric Buckley with 2:01 remaining in the first OT would give the Eddie Murdoch champs the Game 1 victory in the Hawks Nest on Wednesday.

Game 2 goes Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Beaver Valley Arena.
