Monday is 7-11’s anniversary and to celebrate, each store is handing out 1,000 free Slurpees all day.
That means that the only 7-11 store in Trail will be handing out free Slurpees to the first 1,000 customers who want them to help cool off in the summer heat.
More than 13 million Slurpees are consumed every month worldwide.
Manitoba has held the brain-freezing title of “Slurpee Capital of the World” for the past 12 years, having the highest average of slurpees sold per store in the region.
