Kootenay Savings Credit Union (KSCU) staff has stepped up and pulled together an extra $800 to donate to the Trail Salvation Army for use over the holidays.

“This year we have seen a significant increase in people needing assistance,” Rachael Olson, Captain, Trail Corps, explains. “We have an estimated 2,000 people from the City of Trail who are going to be given a Christmas hamper.”

“Every dollar counts, because it also goes towards our regular assistance during the year,” adds Olsen.
