Trail councillor Eleanor Gattafoni-Robinson was on hand recently to congratulate Take a Hike students from the Kootenay Columbia Learning Centre on helping Trail to win the Youth Award at the Communities in Bloom conference in September. Dan Rodlie, chair of Trail CiB presented the award to students Triston Rogers, Emily Sherwood, Cheyenne Roscoe, and teacher Chris Gibson. Take a Hike planted the tulips in the White Garden last year and helped CiB by planting bulbs all around town this fall.
