The Arlington Bar and Grill is giving some love to the Kidney Foundation by kickstarting a local campaign.
For those who may not be able to make the annual Kidney Walk at Gyro Park (Aug. 25), there is an alternative way to show your support in advance.
This year the Arlington is offering support by presenting, “Dine at the ‘A,’ all day,” a campaign, on Wednesday, during which 10 per cent of the money raised by all food sales will be donated to the Kidney Foundation.
“We’d like to encourage everyone to go down to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the ‘A’ and support the Kidney Walk,” said local walk organizer, Joanne McKinnon. “It’s a chance to try out their menu and support a good cause.”
