Volunteer Martin Hatfield (front), a professional landscaper in Vancouver before he moved to Trail to be closer to family, has been a welcome hand for Trail Communities in Bloom (CiB).
“Martin has volunteered hundreds of hours with Communities in Bloom, most recently planting pots for downtown businesses in preparation for the CiB judges visit, July 20 to July 22,” shares Rachael Brown, Trail CiB. “He has been a huge help, and a really great friend.”
Between downpours last Thursday, Hatfield and volunteers Dan Rodlie, Ian Greenough, Shawn Curran, Harry Chapin and Gail Konkin put in hours planting the rainbow garden at Jubilee Park.
