• Trail-Warfield Citizen of the Year 2010 nominations are being sought; deadline April 1. The award goes annually to a Trail or Warfield resident who has an outstanding record of community service. • Trail and District Public Library welcomes Tanna Patterson-Z of Creston who will be reading from her novel, “Butterflies in Bucaramanga.” Based on the story of Creston driller Ed Leonard who was kidnapped by Columbian FARC rebels in 1998 and held captive for 105 days. Thursday, March 24, 7 p.m.
