Preparations are in full force for the May long weekend opening of Castlegar Sculpturewalk 2023, and it’s going to be another great year in The Sculpture Capital of Canada.

Sculpturewalk is offering an opportunity to partner with them through sales, leasing and sponsorship programs and directly support artists and the organization, increasing public art throughout Castlegar and the region.

“2022 was a fantastic year for us – we sold eight sculptures and leased twenty-eight,” says Sculpturewalk Executive Director Joy Barrett. “We also saw a record number of new artists to our program, a trend that’s continuing again this year as our positive reputation continues to grow.”

Interested in drawing attention to your business or beautifying your home? Current sculptures will be coming down in the next few weeks, so now is the time to purchase or lease one of these beautiful works of art and keep it in the Kootenays. Leasing is an affordable and risk-free way to enter the art market, and sculpture purchases can be made on a long-term, payment plan basis.

The popular annual sponsorship program helps to pay for the installation, shipping and other costs for each sculpture. Offering a variety of sponsorship tiers, your support level can be chosen to complement your needs. Your name is showcased on the website, social media sites, and in the brochure/booklet, which is widely circulated throughout the region.
