We have just finished our month of giving.
I would like to send an enormous ‘Thank You’ to all the fantastic customers of the Trail Pet Valu who over the month of October contributed $5,891 in food and product donations to the West Kootenay BC SPCA.
Their kindness, care and generosity during our Champions for Change campaign helped better the lives of so many pets in our area.
The contributions made by customers of the Trail Pet Valu was a B.C. standout.
In fact, Trail Pet Valu had the highest product contribution of any store in the B.C. interior south.
It is something to be proud of.
We live in such a wonderful place not only for its natural beauty, but also for its tremendous community spirit.
Well done to you all.
Our next major campaign takes place next year in June.
Our 2024 goal is $4,000 a significant increase from our 2023 donation of $3,245.
We are also seeking businesses and organizations interested in matching donations from our customers in either $500 or $1,000 increments, hopefully doubling the total contributions to $8,000.
