The Terry Fox Run hit the starting line at Gyro Park on Sunday

About 100 participants ran, walked, biked, and strolled through the Terry Fox Run Sunday morning at Gyro Park. Trail is one of over 9,000 communities across Canada that holds the Terry Fox Run, with the goal of raising funds for Cancer Research. Since the Port Coquitlam native’s Marathon of Hope ended in September 1980, more than $750 million has been raised worldwide to fund cancer research. Jim Bailey photos.
