The leader of the Conservative Party of BC, MLA John Rustad, is stopping in Castlegar on Wednesday, July 12 as part of his 2023 Leader’s Tour.
Rustad will be at a Meet and Greet at the Castle Theatre (185 Columbia Ave.) from 7 - 9 p.m. Earlier in the day, he will be touring the Kalesnikoff Mass Timber Mill.
CPBC says it is dedicated to lowering taxes, balancing the budget, expanding natural resource development, scrapping the carbon tax, reducing healthcare wait times, and cracking down on violent crime.
Rustad is vowing to protect forestry, mining, and farming in B.C.
Rustad was born and raised in Prince George. He has served as Nechako Lakes MLA since 2005.
