New theories and evidence on how multiple sclerosis (MS) develops is being presented to the public this Saturday in Trail.

The National MS Society from the U.S. and the Canadian MS Society collaborate each year to produce a North American Education Session. This year a half hour video was produced entitled “Who? Why? How? Searching for the cause of Multiple Sclerosis.”

“The video will interest anybody who has MS or knows someone with MS,” said Lonnie Facchina, community services coordinator MS society of Canada, West Kootenay chapter.

After the movie a discussion facilitated by Facchina will take place in which the public can ask questions about MS.

The session will be held at the Rosewood Village, space is limited and pre-registration is required.

The cause of multiple sclerosis  is one of the main issues at this year’s meeting.
