FortisBC’s Joe Nex and Steven Stent of Precision Stone Slinger Ltd. watched as contractors Scott Burrows and Drew McCarthy placed hangers under the Victoria Street Bridge Wednesday. The hangers will soon support a gas line that will be moved by FortisBC Gas from the Old Trail Bridge to the Victoria Street Bridge in light of the uncertainty of the 100-year-old structure that was shut down in the fall.
