Update: Trail police ask for help to identify suspect

RCMP releases images of suspect after theft from the senior’s centre in downtown Trail

Update Friday, April 12

Sgt. Mike Wicentowich has issued a thank you to the public for its help in identifying the female suspect who allegedly stole a cash box from the Trail seniors centre.

“We have received several tips about the suspect and will continue to investigate,” he said Friday.


She’s not smiling but she is caught on camera.

And Trail police want to know who she is.

The RCMP detachment has released images of a young woman alleged stealing a cash box from the Trail Senior’s Centre last week.

“On April 3, a cash box containing approximately $100 was stolen from the senior’s centre at Selkirk College, located in downtown Trail,” stated Sgt. Mike Wicentowich in a Thursday media release.

“The suspect is a single Caucasian female who is approximately 25 years-old, stocky, with blond hair,” he said.

“The Trail and Greater District RCMP Detachment is looking for assistance from the public in identifying the female suspect in the attached photographs.”
