Police have identified the 20-year-old Trail resident who allegedly robbed 7-Eleven on Sunday morning.
Blade Guindon appeared in Nelson court Tuesday following the robbery Sunday, where the suspect with a knife in hand and his accomplice took off with about $100 cash at around 3 a.m.
No one was in the store when the culprits, wearing facial coverings, demanded money from the clerk, who wasn’t hurt during the process.
Guindon is facing charges of robbery and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, according to Trail RCMP Sgt. Rob Hawton.
Police are still on the lookout for the second suspect, who they describe as approximately 5’8” with a medium built and who was wearing a black sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.
