Barbara has left this life due to heart complications. She will join her father, Jack James and cousin Darshan. She leaves to mourn her mother, Betty, and brother, Brian James – also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Born in Duncan, she graduated from Cowichan High in 1972. She worked as a secretary at Block Bros. Realty and Saunders Motors, Victoria. She received a degree in horticulture from Olds, Alta. And was then employed by Rossland Golf Course until retirement. She loved playing cards, doing puzzles, reading, gardening and hooking rugs. She enjoyed her work at the Legion, theater and looking after others pets. She will be sadly missed by her mother Betty, brother Brian, relatives, and many friends in Trail where she has resided since 1985. A remembrance tea will be held on October 22, at 2:00pm at the Trail Legion.
