It is with deep sadness that the family of Bonnie Gruden announce her death after a courageous battle with cancer on March 20, 2013 with us at her side.
Bonnie was born in Trail on November 28, 1946 to Mike and Gertie Georgetti. She met and married her loving husband Bud Gruden in 1966, raising their family in Warfield. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to so many.
After dedicating her early life to raising her family, she went back to school choosing nursing as her profession, becoming a devoted nurse, nurturing her patients through the years. She touched the heart of everyone she met. She always said that her family was the most precious gift she had on earth. That and her love of God. She was an active member of the Catholic Church.
Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory her husband Bud, daughters Rebecca (Stan) Stark and Kiersten (Mark) Harrison. Grandchildren Joshua and Anna Harrison and Hannah Stark. Sister Wendy (Bob) Lesy; brothers Roland [Bucky] (Jeannie), Michael, Patrick [Pat] (Jeannine) and Steven; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son Mark in 1989 and by her parents.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at OLPH church with Father Don Wilson celebrant. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Prayers will be said Monday at 7:00 p.m. at OLPH church.
