November 7, 1947 - June 21, 2021
It is with profound grief and sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Nelson (nee Reuter) on June 21, 2021. Carol passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born in Trail, BC to Archie and Tina Reuter.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Albert, her brother Bob (Sharon) Reuter and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and family.
Carol met the love of her life and the two were married in Trail on September 22, 1973. Carol and Albert loved to travel and enjoyed their time checking out other countries and the sites from the cruise ships. They attended music concerts such as Celine Dion and Elton John.
Carol worked for Cominco for approximately twenty-five years. She enjoyed camping at their trailer at Kootenay Lake then later on at Christina Lake. She enjoyed all her camping friends and stayed in touch in the off season. Carol loved spending time and spoiling their beloved dog, Mitzy. Carol always had a treat in her pocket for any willing dog.
Carol was known to be a most kind, caring and generous person, helping those in need. She was a long-time member of the Colombo Lodge and loved going to bingo with "The Girls". Tuesday morning was reserved for coffee with her girlfriends.
