In Loving Memory ~
Ernie Baker passed away on March 23, 2024, at Rosewood Village, at the age of 74, due to prostate cancer, and is re-united with his parents in Heaven.
Ernie was a good-natured person and even comical in his own way and had his family in stitches many times. In 1987 Ernie completed a Long-Term Care Aide Support Workers course at Selkirk College in Castlegar but unfortunately was unable to acquire employment.
He, however, volunteered his time at various places including The Canadian Mental Health Clubhouse, Trail Home Support, The Lions Club and Tony's Automotive Service. His favourite hang-out was the Hockey Arena where he also helped out where necessary.
He is survived by his two sisters Marilyn Stock of Edmonton and Judy of Kelowna.
Andreas Schmitz of Clark's Funeral Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
