With great sadness, the children of Florence Secco announce the sudden, unexpected passing of their much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, on July 30, 2010 at the age of 78, at her home.

Florence is survived by her children Marina Secco of Abbotsford, Janice (Wes) Parsons of Rossland, Don (Jay) Secco of Fruitvale, and Gail (Paul) d’Aoust of Penticton. Also much loved Grandchildren Michael (Stephanie) Parsons, Ashley (Stephen) Mailey, Stacey and Kim Hrubizna, Jason Ewings, Shawna (Chris) Bekkema, David, Beth, and J.J. d’Aoust, and great-grandchildren Larena Hammond-Mailey, Brady & Darren Mailey, Sara & Kaitlyn Parsons, Jordon & Michael Bekkema. Also survived by her brother Harold Ridge and family, Sisters Winifred Rae and Bertha Rees and family, and numerous extended family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Louis Secco, her parents William and Elsie Ridge, and brothers Doug, Elmore, and Jess Ridge.

Mom will be greatly missed. She loved flowers and spent many hours enjoying them, as she did her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom loved her family and leaves us with countless warm memories to ease our grief.

You will always be loved! Say Hi to Papa for us…we know you two are together again forever.

A memorial service will be held at the Trail United Church, 1300 Pine Avenue, on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., with Ken Siemens officiating. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
