Florence Frew of Trail, BC, passed away peacefully September 21, 2013. Florence was born in Revelstoke, BC on January 25, 1937.
Florence is survived by son Doug (Sonia) of Burnaby, BC, daughter Sandra Foxcroft (Todd) of Langley, BC and her three grandchildren, Aiden, Matthew and Sydney. She was predeceased by her husband Jack (2012) her parents, Blanche & Joseph Comeau of Fruitvale, BC and her sister Melva Jackson of Trail, BC.
Florence was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She retired from Cominco in 1991 after many years of dedicated service. She believed whole heartedly in volunteering and giving back to the community. She was a selfless individual who was involved in many causes that helped many people. Florence had a wide variety of interests and will be remembered by all who knew her as a fun loving, caring and genuine person who believed in putting the interest of others above her own. She enjoyed curling, golf, crafts and many happy days fishing with Jack at Kootenay Lake. They loved to travel and some of their fondest memories were spent near the ocean. She will always be remembered fondly and will be dearly missed by those of us who knew her and loved her.
