It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend Garry Wayne Heier. Born and raised in Rossland, he was well known for his accomplishments in Track and Field. He later settled in Kelowna where he met his wife Elizabeth. He was a quiet and private man, dedicated to his family and work as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys and walks with his dog Moe. Garry is forever loved and cherished in the hearts of his family, wife Elizabeth, sons Brent (Irene), Andrew (Lindsay), step daughter Shawna, brother Blair, sisters Wendy (Tom), Debby (Chris), Deleigh (Ash), several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren Jack and Seth. No service will be held as per his request.
