It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Glen Billingsley on January 15, 2020 at the age of 75. Glen was born in Trail and later moved to remote Cassiar, BC where he resided for 20 years with his wife Helen and daughters Barbara, Michelle and Sheena.
During his years in Cassiar he loved fishing, and curling. Glen's love for curling continued once he retired from the sport by following all tournaments and rooting on his favorites. Family gatherings were something that he always looked forward to and especially the ones that took place at our loved Sacheen Lake. Many foster children were welcomed at the dinner table. Glen always said there was plenty for everyone; just add another potato to the pot and slice the meat thinner.
He is survived by his daughters Barbara (Rob), Michelle (Randy) and Sheena (Martin). Always holding a special place in his heart is his foster daughter Aryelle, sister Donna, grandchildren; Joshua, Jordan, Jacob, Sydney, Hannah, Lucas, Keandra, Annika and Chloe. Triple G will be missed by great-grandchildren Tanner and Kalhum, as well as numerous friends and other family members,
Glen is reunited with his beloved wife Helen that predeceased him in 2011, parents Clare and Dora, brothers Gordon and Keith, nephew David and great-granddaughter Aspen.
The family would like to thank all the amazing nurses and doctors with a special mention to Dr. Garret and Dr. McCauley of Kelowna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Father Francis dela Cruz, Celebrant. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
