Merriott: Gordon of Trail and a long time resident of Burnaby, BC passed away peacefully at Columbia View Lodge in Trail on February 22, 2011. He was born October 24, 1920 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Gordon was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sports. He also enjoyed woodworking.
Gordon is survived by his loving companion of 40 years, Yvonne Golley, daughter Lesley (Mike), granddaughter Erin (Shawn), great-grandson Taylor, and his brother Douglas (Gladys) Merriott. He was predeceased by his brother Don Merriott.
By request there will be no service. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
The family wish to thank the staff at Columbia View Lodge for their care given to Gord over the last three years.
