Helen Marie Underwood (nee Morissette)

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce, after a courageous battle with cancer, the passing of Helen Underwood, a loving wife of 41 years, Mother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many.
Helen was born April 29, 1952 in Trail, BC to Margaret and Joseph (Pete) Morissette she was raised in Fruitvale and graduated from JL Crowe. Helen worked for many years as a bookkeeper and was an active volunteer for local junior hockey teams, community events and the BV Lions Club
Helen was predeceased by her parents Pete and Margaret, her brother Gary and her nephews Matthew Underwood, Matthew Morissette, Scott Morris and Adrian Miller. Helen is survived by her husband David and her son Joey, brother Steve, sister Janet and many nephews and nieces.
A private Interment will be held at the Fruitvale Cemetery on Friday, July 7 at 10:30 am.
