Jim passed away peacefully at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on October 12, 2022 at the age of 94, with his family at his side. Jim was born in Kamsack, Saskatchewan on June 2, 1928.
Jim was a very kind and caring man and loved by all who knew him. He truly was a gentleman.
Jim is predeceased by his wife Martha, parents Thomas and Ellen Dennett, his brothers Ted and Ernie. Jim is survived by his daughter Mary (Bob), his three wonderful grandchildren; Jessep (Crystal), Philip (Clorisa) and Leah (Dom), his nine great-grandchildren; Emilly, Kayeith, Deja, Mateah, Rexton, Skye, Tessah, James and Violet, his nephew Rob, and his three nieces; Sandra, Marg and Nancy.
The family would like to thank the wonderful Doctors and Nurses in Emergency and the amazing team of Doctors, Nurses and Care Aides on the third floor for the compassion and kindness given to Jim while he was in their care.
By Jim's request, a service will not be held. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Kole Roth of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
