Knudsgaard, John Frands (Frankie) Eriksen passed away peacefully on September 10, 2010 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. He was born February 12, 1938 in Rossland, BC at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital and resided at Rosewood Village since June 1, 2004.
Frankie is survived by his brothers Erik (Margaret) and Einer (Mariette), and sister Linda (Allan) Taylor; nine nieces and nephews: Bart (Elaine), Anna Marie (Corey), Paul (Colleen), Mark (Julie-Anne), Karen, Anna, Heidi (Sean), Todd (Amanda), and Krista (Landon); as well as thirteen great nieces and nephews: Katelyn, Emily, Riley, Ashley, Jody, Dillon, Tristen, Szachary, Jayden, Mya, Kristian, Winter, and Moss. He was predeceased by his father Hans, mother Laurine, and brother David.
Frankie was well known for his ticket selling, his friendly smile, and happy outlook on life.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Cerlouie Jimenez as celebrant. Bill Clark of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
