Hargreaves: John of Trail and formerly of Victoria, BC and England passed away peacefully at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on January 31, 2011. He was born on March 3, 1916 in London, England.
John is survived by his loving wife Winifred of 71 years, son Michael (Laura) and daughter Mary, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter, as well as his sister Lorna. He was predeceased by his son Paul.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m., with Canon Neil Elliot officiating. Al Grywacheski of Personal Alternative Funeral Services “Carberry’s Chapel” is entrusted with arrangements.
