ISPANOVIC: Katica (Kathy) of Trail and a long-time resident of Fruitvale, passed away at Rosewood Village on May 24, 2012. She was born in Osijek, Croatia on September 26, 1916.
Kathy, with her husband and two sons, arrived to Canada 65 years ago and later settled in Trail.
She will be best remembered as the owner of the TASTEE FREEZE in East Trail.
Kathy was predeceased by her husband Julius in 1990. She is survived by her two sons; (Robert) Bob and Zdenko (Steve), 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:30 am from St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Fruitvale with Father J. Joseph Kizhakethottathil M.S.T., Celebrant. Burial is to follow at Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
