In Loving Memory ~

Laura was born in Grand Forks in 1920 and came to Trail in 1936. She worked at Clark's Flower Shop for a while and then she met and married Joe Anselmo in 1939.

She enjoyed doing volunteer work and she was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary since 1957. Some people may remember her as the 'Candy Lady' pushing the cart around the hospital selling goodies and newspapers to the patients, nurses and visitors.

She was a member of the Catholic Women's League since 1939. She also helped serve luncheons after funerals for about 50 years.

Laura is survived by her daughters Linda Anselmo and Carolyn DiPasquale, and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Joe and brothers Victor, Ben and Albert.

A special "thank you" to the wonderful friends, neighbours and Home Support Staff. It was with their kindness, help and care that Mom was able to live independently in her own home and another sincere "thank you" to Dr. Tucker and the doctors and nurses on the 2nd floor who cared for Mom in her final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Sarah Stevens of Clark's Funeral Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence at the family's online register at www.clarksfuneral.ca
