Laurie (Lauretta) Flack (nee Newman)

March 21, 1964 - February 17, 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Laurie. Laurie fought a quick but courageous battle with cancer.
She was surrounded by her family and loved ones in her final days.
She ensured to live life to its fullest, with no regrets. Laurie touched more lives in her short time than she'll ever know. She was an avid community volunteer, who was the first to offer assistance to anyone she could help; and was especially involved in Special Olympics, Girl Guides, School PAC, and the bowling community.
Laurie will be known for her outgoing personality, infectious laugh and smile, her absolute love for Disney and all things Mickey, and her ability to find a positive in every situation.
Laurie is survived by her loving husband Merv Flack of 37 years, sons Timothy and Curtis (Kristen); parents Agnes & Bill Newman; sister Rita, (Owen), Carissa & Nicholas (Karly) Verdon; brother Doria, (Lisa) Newman, Katie (Josh), Jaxton & Ryker Moisson; brother Arthur (Laurie) Newman and numerous extended Aunts, Uncles, cousins and step-family.
We would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and doctors of KBRH, especially Dr. Baribeau, Dr. Houde, & Dr. Cihal. Please join us for a commemoration reception on Saturday March 5th 1 pm-4 pm at the Warfield Hall.
