Was born on July 14, 1923 in Ottawa, Ontario and passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 4, 2019 in Trail, BC.
She is predeceased by her husband Ernest Alfred Schmutz, her parents, siblings, cousins and nephews. She is survived by her children, Mark (Pauline), Judith (Rick), Daniel, Robert (Donna) and Eleanor (Frank); her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved cat Suzy.
Lillian's loves included travelling, swimming, cycling, skiing, skating, quilting, knitting and spending time with her family.
A Graveside service will be held in Coquitlam later this spring. Gwen Ziprick of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence by visiting the family's register at www.myalternatives.ca
