Loretta was born in 1922 in Pembroke, Ontario to Mary Maude Lee and Hugh Gallagher. She enjoyed traveling the world with John after retiring and taking night courses on various subjects. She was an active member of St. Peter’s Parish in Ottawa for many years and is fondly remembered by the ‘Morning Mass Coffee Group’.

Loretta and John moved to Rosewood Village in Trail in 2004 to be closer to family. Loretta became secretary of the Residents’ Committee at Rosewood Village, and enjoyed playing Bingo and welcoming guests to the Rosewood Teas.
