Margaret Rosse, a long-time resident of Rossland, BC, passed away quietly on May 11, 2017 at Silver Kettle Village, Grand Forks. She was born December 5, 1922 in Blairmore, AB.
Margaret enjoyed her flower garden, curling, travelling, visiting with family and friends, and being at Christina Lake. She was a proud past president of the Rossland Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop, member of the Rossland United Church, and Rossland Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her husband Joe in 1992, son David in 1970, and siblings Bill, May, Art, Nan, and Seth.
Margaret is survived by her sons Joe (Pauline), Rick (Diane), and Ed (Nancy), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister Minnie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
At Margaret’s request there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Margaret’s honour to a charity of your choice.
