Marie Rita Spain passed away peacefully at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital on March 10, 2021. Rita was born on January 10, 1934 in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan.
Rita was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. She enjoyed travelling, knitting and crocheting.
Rita is survived by her husband Ron, of 69 years, her grandson Nathan (Brenda), her brother Leo (Lorraine) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Rhonda and her brothers and sisters.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Rita's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
Interment will take place at the Fruitvale Memorial Cemetery. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation ServicesTM has been entrusted with arrangements.
