JORGENSEN, Marilyn June – passed away suddenly at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the age of 76. She lived the majority of her life a resident of Warfield, BC; the past few years she lived in Calgary. Born June 25, 1937 in Trail, British Columbia.
Marilyn is survived by daughter Donna, son Larry (Debbie), grand-daughter Staci (Garth) Johnson; brother Donald Lawley, niece Cheryl, nephew Greg and their families; and numerous cousins.
Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Helen Lawley and sister-in-law (Shirley).
Marilyn was a member of the Trail United Church Woman's League and she volunteered at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen. She loved needlepoint, travelling, antique shopping, attending any theatre production, and her dogs. Marilyn was a loving and devoted mother/grandmother, a true friend with an amazing sense of humour, a kind soul, and will always be remembered by those of us who knew her and loved her.
There will no funeral or memorial as per Marilyn’s request.
