ROPAS, Marilyn of Trail passed away peacefully on May 11, 2013 at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. She was born on December 3, 1945 in Drumheller, Alberta.
Marilyn began her 40 year health care career at the Drumheller Hospital and later started at the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital where she worked for 23 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Margaret Maxwell, her two brothers Arthur and Bill. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Joseph, her two sons Darrin (Stephanie) and Jody (Julie), her grandchildren Mackenzie, Connor, Jeremy, Hannah and Jacob; her twin brother Tom (Sharon), Gordon (Bev), and Donald (Geneva) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 11, Trail, on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 am. Al Grywacheski of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services™ has been entrusted with arrangements.
