It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my mom on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2018 after a brief illness.
She is survived by her daughter Leona, brothers Pinoke and George (Molly), brothers-in-law Mel (Viv), Clare (Gloria), and Bill (Sue), sister-in-law Joan and countless nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Francis and Dorothy, her loving husband Len, her son Gordie, two sisters Winnie and Nellie, four brothers Tom, Paddy, Frank and Busher, her son-in-law Carlos and his son Brandon.
Mom lived for her family, she loved the time they spent camping at Evans and the many years they spent at Deep Lake. And of course she loved a good shopping trip and spent countless hours doing crafts. Our dish cloth supply line has sadly come to an end.
Thank you to Dr. Yo and the 3rd floor nursing staff. A special thanks to Laurie and Maria from Serendipity. Mom was able to remain home longer due to your care.
A Celebration of Mom's life will be held at the Trail Royal Canadian Legion Branch #11 on Wednesday, May 30th at 11:00 am with Reverend Ken Siemens, Celebrant. Bill Clark of Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
