Was born on February 18, 1936 in Alice, AB and passed away peacefully at Poplar Ridge Pavillion in Trail, BC on March 12, 2020.
She is predeceased by her husband Edward Paul and both her parents Jay Bucknell and Vera Hoppus.
Merna is survived by her children Greg (Mona), Jimmy, Danny, John, and Grandchildren Elizabeth (Richard), Alex (Brianne), Gary, Maralee (Jason), Brigette (Shelton) and 1 Grandson and 4 Granddaughters.
Family was a very important part of her life she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. And she was a avid animal lover of Cats. And baking of pies.
