On Friday, January 21, 2011 Molly Terekoff of Salmo passed away at the age of 102 in Mountain Lake Seniors Community. She was born in Saskatchewan to Nicholas and Anne Laktin on July 5, 1908. She married Alexander Terekoff in the early 1930’s, moving to Benito, Manitoba shortly after.
They moved to Salmo in 1948. She loved knitting, sewing, crocheting, cooking, gardening and her family.
Molly was predeceased by her husband Alexander, son Frederick, daughter Una, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Connie (Bob) Bush of Salmo, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Service, Nelson, BC., followed by interment at Boulder Creek Cemetery, Salmo, BC.
As an expression of sympathy family and friends may make donations to the Salmo Youth Centre.
